When I was in the 7th grade I had the opportunity to participate in something called a Deeper Learning Massive Open Online Course. High Tech High is not a school that wants to keep it's philosophies to itself. They do everything they can in order to spread education techniques that they believe will change future generations for the better. At HTHCV we believe that education is the foundation for everything else in life and that it should be utilized in order to facilitate deeper learning. Deeper learning means quality over quantity in education. Instead of giving students a finite amount of information to memorize, it is about teaching the student how to use their brain to the fullest so that when they go ahead in life, they are able to learn whatever they choose.
